Get a new boyfriend!

If hes so shallow that he only likes girls with blond hair then tell him to go join the Aryan Nation Nazi Party and get yourself a man who appreciates a sultry brunette.

Mine much prefers brunettes, He hates "Airplane" blondes as he calls them (because they have a "black box").

Lots of other men I know also think bleached blonde looks fake and cheap.

Your complexion might not suit blonde hair, but the main thing is you will wreck your hair's condition. You can forget about shine and gloss once its been fried with bleach. And if you don't get it done professionally you'll end up with orange frizz.

Then you'll have to touch up your roots every couple of weeks to avoid looking like trailer trash!

Beautiful, natural, shiny healthy dark hair is so much more attractive.

Don't do it! Be proud of who you are and the colouring your parents gave you!! Tell him to get lost!

I had golden blonde highlights put through my dark brown hair and not only did it dry the condition out and rob it of shine but they didn't suit me. Everyone said I looked better when I covered them up with a dark brown dye!

You could try it with a wig?
Well,don't get platnum blonde.
Could you not get blonde streaks through your hair?
Or dye your hair blonde but leave the roots your natural colour?
Because once you start dying your hair you'll have to keep doing it unless you let the dye grow out..
Which takes a long time and your hair would look dreadful.
Make sure its something that YOU want..
NOT what your boyfriend wants.
Good Luck,
I hope everything works out well for you.. :]

go for highlight first, it is much better than the total blond look. It is take a big commitment to do the whole blond look as you have to keep bleach your hair every few months otherwise will look horrible when the roots start growing. If your boyfriend do not happy with your natural hair, I think you should ditch him - before you get older and he will leave you for young blond girl half your age.

Hey, its your hair not his. if you really dont want to dye your hair blonde then dont. if he really likes you for who you are it doesnt matter what color your hair is. Also if you dye your hair blonde and your hair is dark it will make your eye brows look much darker and you will need to get your roots touched up every 4-5 weeks. Trust me, if your brunette and you dye your hair blond its a pain to keep up with. It's also expensive if you get it done at the salon, and the roots done there too.

if you dont know if blonde will look good on you, the next time you pass by a salon go in it and ask a stylish there what they think and what type of blonde would look good on you (ex: platnum, wheat, honey, gold, dirty)

I like brunettes better.

I would think pale would go better with blonde though. What looks bad is when your bottom 3 inches are dark and the rest is blonde.

There's nothing wrong with doing something for your bf/gf.

You'd look dreadful if you go blonde, especially just because your boyfriend tells you to. Why would he want to change the person he fell in love with?

If your BF wants a blonde, maybe he should go get one. Maybe you should go find someone who loves you for who and what you are, Brunette!

Brunettes are a darn sight sexier than blondes anyway and definitely sexier than bottle blondes.

Stay true to yourself.

well, ur boyfriend should be ready to accept u as u are if he really loves u. If he thinks dying ur hair blonde is cool then e might be blown off his feet when he sets eyes on a real blonde who posses ur features.Anyways u can go ahead since i see black women in blonde and its cool.U only ve a tanned skin so there is no problem. :)

Don't do it - you will look pale and washed out and very odd! Your colouring suits you! If YOU want to change your hair colour go to a salon and get professional advice. If you really want blonde then just get hi-lights don't get the whole head done!!

Well first of all don't do it cause your boyfriend wants oyu too if he wants you to dye your hair blonde ask him if he would dye his hair a different color and if not you don't either, also if you want to dye your hair to try somethign new get the non-permanent color and try it that way first to see if you like it or not, and if not then go back your natural color! Simple as that

Gosh, don't worry about your complexion - worry about your boyfriend!!! If he doesn't like you the way you are, he's not much of a pal! Point out a few things you'd like HIM to change (his attitude, for one!), & he'll either get the message, or dump you, but better off without him, I'd say.
