My dog is 1 yr old, she went into heat on July 31, 2006 and had a false pregnancy. It has been about 12-13 weeks since the end of her last heat cycle, and she was standing for a male dog on October 27, 2006. She doesnt show any visual signs of being in heat, is there a possibility she can be pregnant????

I Want her to be pregnant but I dont want to pay my vet $160 to check. It may be a split/silent heat!

Although if she is pregnant, i would be more than happy to take her to teh vet to make sure everything is ok, BUT i refuse to waste money again checking ot see if she is pregnant, because she has already had a false pregnancy! GREAT PET OWNER!! woooo!

If you kept her inside during her heat, it is improbable. However, if she was outside, it's likely. You're vet can tell you for sure, but to make sure she doesn't have any more litters, get her spayed.

It is early for her to come back in heat so soon. I guess it could be possible. I would keep her put up for now and wait until the next heat cycle to breed her. She should not be bred until 18 mo to 2 yrs old.
