According to some British scientists as shown on Discovery channel, year 2006 is actually 2000 years after Christ was born.
6 days, or 6000 years from Genesis prophecy is this year.
End of times is just new beginning when people will enter millennium, chosen will live forever, and whole planet will know that moment has arrived.
Signs about how " ripe " that situation is right now, are all over the planet, all we have to do, is to stay alive.
The most often used comparison in prophecies about " end times " is with days right before great flood with the Ark and Noah. It couldn't happen' any other way, look around you.

No one knows the day or the hour. I think most religions spend to much time trying to predict the end instead of utilizing the time before the end teaching those of no faith, or those in false religion. Religions that have pinpointed to certain dates are unaware of the occultic origin of the dates. Ex. the year 1914 was created by pyramidologists measuring the Great Pyramid of Giza.
