If you really like him, then go and tell him that you still love him and that you wanna start dating him again. Theres no way to find out apart from asking him.

Well first, according to your picture you are much too pretty and much too young to worry about being lonely. Now, down to business. You absolutely need to talk to him about it. You just said you told him everything.....just not yet I suppose. lol it sounds by your description, that he seems absolutely the one for you. Anyone that you can call your best friend, has to be. There is one thing...now that you've been there don't let anything change from how it is right now. If you guys continue to be best friends, even during your relationship, then don't let that change. That will keep you guys honest, loving and having a good time together. Never forget that.

Take a moment to figure it out for yourself, then you have a discussion with him cause if you two are better friends than in a relationship then that's where it should be kept. Remember boys come and go, but good friends can last a lifetime:) Good luck

If you want him, make it known, one of you has to do something positive, if he won't , then you do it, heck! if it fails, then at least you can say that you gave it a second go, if it works, well, guess, you will be a bit busy for a few days to let us know how you got on !!! Good Luck.

Might he find it easier to be direct and honest after a few beers/glasses of wine? Then broach the subject gently, and play it by ear. You have to at least try, don't you? Otherwise you'll be wondering in 30 years "what if....?"

You have to talk to him about it- don't let the moment pass!
I don't think playing games or keeping quiet will make things any easier... if this guy is worth it don't be shy- be yourself always and tell him how you feel!

Talk to him even if it means at the end of the day he may not still feel the same at least you can get your closure and try to move on .

Drop a few hints that you like someome else and see his reaction. If he gets all jealous, he really likes you and wants you for himself, if eggs you on to go for it he justs wants to stay friends. Thats my advice anyway xx
