ok--i carved out two pumpkins for halloween and have a ton of seeds that i would like to roast--problem being i haven't roasted pumpkin seed since probably first grade (won't say how long ago THAT was :)--do you know how, at what temp., and for how long????

Separate the seeds from pumpkin flesh and strings. Wash them well and spread them on paper towels to dry. Next spread seeds evenly over a cookie sheet. Heat them in a 375-degree oven for 20-30 minutes. raise the oven temperature to 400. Brown the seeds for five to 10 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle with salt and serve hot or cold.
