I think it would be a good idea if anytime any of us find a new tit bit on helping our planet, we should post on here to inform others so that we can make a change or try to.
EXMPL: kleenex, scott tissue, and cottonelle are products that don't use recycled paper. Instead they clear-cut ancient forest to produce their product. let's stop buying these products and also get the word out to others.
we might be at the point of no return (or close to) on saving this planet, but we can at least try.
your thoughts?

Wonderful! I just saw "Inconvenient Truth" and thought I'd be depressed afterward, but it was uplifting because we CAN make a difference. Recycling, buying prudently, electing a government that has the environment as a party platform could be something everyone can do. Business can't be run the old way anymore. There needs to be a better way, so they're not dumping chemicals willy-nilly. We pay for their sloppy procedures twice - once to buy the product - second in our taxes to clean up the mess they've made. So, put your dollars where it will count. Only recycled paper for me.

It is much better for the environment to cut down trees and replant than it is to recycle paper. A lot of nasty chemicals have to be used to recycle paper. Those waste chemicals have to go somewhere. Whereas if you just throw the paper into a landfill, it will quickly biodegrade. Trees are renewable.
And as for old growth forests being clear cut. It's much better for us to use that wood rather than to let it takes its natural course, which is forest fire.

human beings in easy terms say they might desire to look after the planet for their very own protection. the planet will outlive all lifestyles on earth besides it constantly has and it wont be any distinctive for us people. individuals are merely attempting to extend human lifestyles on earth through fact we are using each and all the planets organic supplies and time is understanding for people. yet by no potential mom earth she will constantly be right here long as quickly as we are long previous.
