Would you not say that was bigotry, after all they are not shouting sectarian abuse. Dont they have a human right to do as they wish. And dont say it is offensive unless you can explain why. What hurt can a person blessing themselves possibly do to any one. I bet if a catholic said go to mass for a week and bleess your self , or a celtic fan said wear a celtic top for a week and sing hail hail for 1000,000 you would do it. DONT LIE. you would do it.

Get my point stop moaning for the sake of it .

I agree, both sides in the broader picture are christian clubs in a christian country, what is the major sign of Christianity.... a crucifix! wheather catholic or protestant the sign of Christianity is a cross. Its a shame that the bigots are too blind to see this.
Somebody better give fudgie some coffee, he seams tired. Or why not give him a rope instead so that he can hang himself, with the rest of his "people" WANKER!!!!!!!

Glasgow Rangers and Celtic (the 'Auld Rivals') have a traditional sectarian history; Celtic traditionally being the Catholic side, and Rangers being the Protestant side.

It's a shame this rivalry still exists today, and it is most definitely bigotry. If Manchester United (traditionally a team supported by Catholics) and Manchester City (Protestant) fans behaved like this, there would be national outcry!

I am a protestant and i support celtic i dont find it offensive as its just part of their religion and you are right its not like their shouting sectarian abuse unlike all those dickheads who dont realise that half of the rangers team is catholic anyway.

football is taken far too seriously if you ask me!!! how can we even hope to be a multi racial society when we are so intent on knocking the utter sh*te out of each other all because we choose to go to church or a chapel!!! It's even worse when you see little kids acting that way!!! It's sickening and we need to find ways to stop it for future generations sake!!! It's only a game after all folks!!!

i'm a rangers fan and i don't do what you are saying. it's only football at the end of the day and people need to stop taking it so seriously. to me celtic is just another team and i don't care what religion goes with it.

You have an obsessive complusive disorder that has nothing to do with football.
Makes for tedious reading here.
Maybe enrol in a literacy class (they are free) and learn to express yourself in an adult fashion.
Maybe come back with something original?

you lot need to grow up and stop putting the catholic and protestant thing into every football question, both have their religions get over it and accept them for who they are.
