Do not burn them, they can blow up. Most Muncipalities have special sites for batteries, paint cans, oil etc. Call your local city hall and ask for the Garbage collection dept and find out what they have for sites for dangerous goods. Also check out stores that take batteries for recyling. Batteries are filled with acids so don't just throw them in the garbage, this is good question, it's so important to keep our environment safe for ourselves and the future generations.l

we suppose to throw it on the bin only. because we have no other option to do with batteries. at least the expert can be done something on it. which is not possible for us.

Grind them into a paste and mix with a little butter and olive oil, spread thinly on a slice of toast with marmite.
Throw into bin and no one knows you have thrown away a battery

"they" are not normal...if you want to hunt down your nearest recycling center then save enough batteries that would be enough to make an impact in comparrison to the gas that you would burn going to and from the recycling center not to mention the money you would spend on gas etc. then be my guest...if that doesnt sound like a rational plan then just toss em in the trash and move on w/ your life...I hate people spouting this crp that you shouldnt throw batteries away..
