I've never heard of using vaseline for making your hair straight. Why not just buy a straightening kit? Or you can get a FLAT IRON to do the same thing.

personally I would not use Vaseline on my hair. It will make it all greasy and it will sick to your face. Also imagine washing it out. It would take forever. I have really frizzy naturally wavy. I actually use a fat 1 2/3 inch curling iron from Revlon. It gets hot enough to do the job but not so it will burn your hair. It also grips really good. Also you can add volume to it because it curls too. It straightens my hair and it lasts a long time.

No, don't use vaseline. John Frieda has a line of Frizz-Ease products that should help enormously. Vaseline will make your hair a gooey mess.

Vaseline in your hair will not make it straight. You will have an absolute greasy disaster mess in your hair that is extremely difficult to get out.

No, it will just make your hair look greasy. They MIGHT have used a LITTLE bit of vaseline instead of gel with a straightening iron. Without the straightening iron, vaseling will just make your hair shiny or greasy-looking if you use too much.

Yes, they use a heated pressing comb with the Vaseline.

I never heard of that, but I use straight out. It's like a gel and it is activated by heat. That seems to work good for me.
