Sometimes if my hand is extended outward for any reason, my chocolate lab, will put her paw on my hand. I move my open hand away, and she will try to move her paw to where my hand is at. Why does she do that?

Mine is a black lab and does the same or almost same. She puts her big paw over my forearm 'til I tire of petting her.
It must be a Labrador Retreiver thing.

its either the dominance thing or wants a reward. sometimes when i yell at my husky and point my finger at her she puts her paw over my hand or even talks back. or when i have a treat she will automaticaly sit and give paw cuz she knows there is a reward.

You have a beauty there, she LOVES you, and will do anything to please you. Are your hands naturally warm? She senses a connection.

I don't see other answers for some time, I am in a different country, but don't worry she loves you. K
