Hair oil could do the trick, but I got gum in my super curly hair and didn't have to cut or use oil. Take your time and use the friction on two fingers to "grind" it out, it takes a little time but it doesn't damage your hair and you don't have to put any funny stuff in your hair.

This is what i did, i took a bowl and put my hair strands with the bubble gum in them inside the bowl, my friend poored ice cubes on top. We waited along time to my hair/bubble gum was hard/frozen. then we easily crushed the bubble gum into pieces since it was frozen. They only tiny frozen bubble gum crumbs were in my hair and i just rinsed them right out.

Take a spoon full of peanut butter and rub the peanut butter on and around the gum then slowly start sliding the gum out! I hope it works!

Olive oil is the best because it helps your hair, Coat your hair with it. Don't use water because bubble gum getts hard when it comes in contact with water

Cut it out or either, (car starting spray is either) then break it out. Mind you either is very dangerous flamable to the point of being explosive, capable of knocking you out or even killing you, it,s used to remove gum from floors on subway trains but only with all the doors open and all fans on even then it's still dangerous

well it's like this you can try peanut butter, mayonaise, ice, and any other oil based product there is but the only way you are going to actually get it out is to cut it out, trust me i know this answer sucks, but i have three kids and have tried everything sorry

This sounds crazy but freeze it by rubbing a bit of ice on it. It will harden and you can just rip it out with out it getting all gooey.
