I had breast cancer 12 years ago and still haven't got reconstructive surgery.I have been thinking more and more about it. I'm not sure if it would be worth the trouble and of course the money, it would make me feel better about myself I guess. Anyway, at this point in my life I am considering getting surgery for removing the acne scars and brown spots on my face, the spots are driving me crazy. That's about it. Cheers=)

Plastic surgery ok, but implants no, don't like the thought of them.

I had laser eye surger, that counts as not medicaly required, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. I think that if you want to get something altered it's up to you, making yourself feel better has at least as much to do with the results as the surgery itself. I have known women who have had implants and reductions, all fo rtheir own reasons and all were very happy about how they felt with the results.

i would never get implants, maybe a nose job (which falls under plastic surgery) but i find them scary, i would be so frightened if i had to go under the knife...also theres many side effects...

i think you were born the way you are for a reason, i have two daughters one is 19 and married she is small, on the other hand i have a sixteen year old who when she was eleven developed way beyond her years. the only reason i think you should have this type of surgery is to correct health problems

I think you shouldn't get cosmetic surgery except if you were born with some abnormal condition. Learn to love who you are. God made you that way!!

how can surgery by non-medical.....ohhh....just for appearances....well if you wear make-up or wax you bikini line or shave your armpits then you alter your appearance. so plastic surgery is perfectly acceptable. it can be addicting...just look at Micheal Jackson..

i should really say whatever makes you feel good, but honestly, ew. it's only beauty when its real. otherwise its just a bunch of plastic trying to pretend its beautiful.

Implants are stupid. You can always tell when there fake. It just makes you look trashy and skanky.
