Sure, black is very sophisticated and very sleek, matches everything. An evening wedding is better to wear black at than an earlier wedding, because usually it signifies mourning, or death. At night, black is sophisticated and sexy, as well as very common choice.

Yes you can wear black to a formal wedding but I would punch up the black with red or silver shoes and a red or silver purse. Also lots of bead or chains are all the rage now so add some beads or a really pretty pin. You can wear black, but you don't want to look like your going to a funeral.

This question is under the category of etiquette and therefore my answer is a big NO to "Little Black Dresses" or any other type of black clothing. It's disrespectful and it's NOT proper etiquette. I would never wear black clothing to a wedding. Done.

Yes, the "little black dress" is perfect for such a situation. Really, most people won't complain about any color you choose to wear to a wedding, as long as you aren't dressed in all or mostly white.

no absoutly not do not wear black at all to a wedding, that is soo distastful, because it is an insult to the people who are getting married, Thats like stating that you are going to a funeral instead of a wedding, Noo dont do that,
