Well, it depends what kind of person you are. if you are into a 'fast vibrant city life', then Hong Kong is a nice place for you. It trully is the east meets west city.

U could go to the Peak where u could see the full beautiful view of Hong Kong (its better to go there at night, the lights are fantastic)!! and Make sure you try the peak tram, its scary and exciting both in the same time!!
There's Ocean Park (amusement park) if you are into that.
Mong Kok, Stanley Market and Tsim Tsa Tsui are the best place to shop if you are into street market.
Lan Kwai Fong is the place to go dine out or even partying (lots of expats).
Lantau Island if you wanna see the big Budha Statue.
Happy Valley Race course on Tuesday if you are into big horse racing and the Sha tin Race course on Saturday..

and Talking about food? God.. its everywhere great food! make sure you try the Jumbo Restaurant, the floating restaurant!

The people normally tend to understand only basic english and seems to be rude, but they are really not. yelling are just the way they speaks in there. you will get used to it.

Hong Kong is a beautiful place, BUT you know it is very small , over crowded place. I don't know about you, I like lots of space, that means money. I drive an SUV. I will not drive or sit or look at a compact car. Don't waste my time. But in Hong Kong, they have to do with what they have.

Substistute Hong Kong with USA or any other countries.

It's all about the individual. If your happy living where you are then your happy anywhere.
