I tell her I care cause I really do, we have been together for a couple months and I know I care about her she brightens my day when I see her its like a rainbow after the storm. When I see her none of the gloomy stuff of day to day life bothers me anymore. I think I am a matruing man even though I am not quite 20 cuase I tell her how I feel I could act like I was better than her and would rather do other things but it kinda defeats the purpose if you care for somebody you should show them not act differently. My main question is I dont really wanna smother, but I like telling her how I feel. I dont wanna take away from the spontaneousy of being romantic but is telling her how I feel a few times a a week and slipping her a note or a rose on the pillow over the top.

I say you can never be TOOOOOOO romantic! As long as you don't start weeping on a regular basis to her...LOL.

If she starts to feel uncomfortable to smothered, I'm sure that she will let you know... verbally or you'll be able to tell by her body language/response to certain situations.

I think that is says alot about you that you feel secure enough of yourself to be honest with your "compassionate" side towards her, instead of acting like a big lump that doesnt care. However, you don't want to make it too much of a consistant occurance or #1-it could start to loose its effect and impact -or-
#2-you'll start to feel comfortable enough to where this behaviour will begin to lessen, but she'll be so expecting of it that she'll start to expect it alllllllll the time!

Are you telling her for you or for her? If you like her so much, then you don't need to keep on telling her - she knows. Don't smother the flame, as you might put it out. :-)
