The pastors need better ringers.
Actually there's a fairly similar Monty Python sketch involving philosophers.

Isn't ecumenicalism a bringing together of all faiths to pray to God each in their own way? I think it is. Anyway, this seems very PC and all...but in a way it's lending support to false religions. If Jesus said the only way to God is through Him, and that if you don't have the son, you don't have the father....isn't "getting together" with people who reject Jesus as savior, in essence, saying "it doesn't matter what you believe, let's play soccer"? In a way....it's condoning false religions. Sorry, that's just how it strikes me.

I am from America, and as such, there is no spice you can give to soccer that would begin to prevent me from falling asleep.
That said, it's never a bad thing when folks of different faiths come together for any reason. Even...zzz....the game of...zzz.zzzz.....Soccer...

A bunch of superstition pushers playing a game, in a vain attempt to show how religious people can get along. It's ironic since the reason they have to do this is because of how divisive religion is.

I think this proves, at the end of the day, that we are ALL
God's creatures, created in His image, created for fun
and created to get along......equally....
I think it's good...
The fact that they were not sitting down and talking about
religion would have been fantastic.
Whether or not, they did after the game, is another thing.

I guess it is better to take a shot with a soccer ball than it is to take a shot with an AK-47. Other than that I think it is pointless.

haha o_O, it will probably the only time they will be together ( which i guess is a good thing) but its for competition purposes which is bad... leads to thinking one religion is superior to the other ( which isnt the case... soccer skills have nothing to do with religion)
