For my English class, I need a good play of words, but I need to take them from somewhere, and write where it's from, and a little info about it. Here are a few from Greenday...
"One light, one mind flashing in the dark, blinded by the silence of a thousand broken hearts"-
^I like this play of words, because it's "blinded by the silence"
"With an angel face, and a taste for suicidal"-
^I like this because it's saying, a beautiful person, with a deadly sense "angel face-taste for suicidal"
"Stepped ou tof the line, like a sheep runs from the herd, marching out of time, to my own beat now, the only way I know"-
^I like this one because it's comparing individuality, it's a simile it uses "like"
"Everybody do the propaganda"
^I like this because it's simple, and propaganda is done by everyone, and when he sings it it's in a form of sarcasm, because everyone already does it
You can pick one of these or donate your own, but make sure it's Greenday, and explain why it is a fair play.
