i need two windows in the house tinted because of the evening sun. it's so bright.but i would still like to grow flowers in the window.i live in northern calif. any help?

I suggest get an outside awning to cut the sun and a shade inside. If you tint the glass you will cut a lot of beneficial light.

You could install tinted film on the glass. You can buy it at Home Depot. You can find professionals who will do the job. It works as we got it done one some large windows in my house.

Why not try mini blinds you can put them Down when to sun is bothering you and leave them up other times so your plants can get sunlight.
