I mean everyone says it, so why not add it to the dictionary.

Not everyone does say it, it is incorrect and used only by those who do not know how to speak English correctly. Stop saying it and to other people you will appear to be better educated.

You can say "That was more fun" or "That was the most fun I ever had", but NEVER "funner"

The English language is full of arbitrary rules that don't seem to originate from anything except someone from acedemia's personal opinion hundreds of years ago.
Another good example of that is not to end a sentence in a preposition.

Because it is incorrect according to whoever it is that wrote our crazy language. Everybody says "brb" and "ttyl" or spells "you", "U" and I will move to Portugal the day those are added to the dictionary.

Only idiots actually say words like that. You look in any educated English class (high school and above) and only those with lower grades will wonder what's the problem with it.

No one i've ever known, and I've heard some stupid words used but never this.
