I need to lose some serious weight. I know the trick is watching what u eat and excersising, and I'm trying to figure out a work out routine. Any suggestions? I like ellipticals and I'm trying to decide between purchasing equipment or just joining a gym? Any ideas? Also any thoughts on dietary supplements to help?

walk, run, jog, push ups, crunches, jump n jacks. there is no need to buy equip or go to gym its a waste of money. running will make you feel really good. find a friend to do it with you. its always better that way. you shouldnt take supplements either
all natural is the best healthiest way

I'm in a similar situation. These are the keys:

There is no magic pill or process - you must create a calorie deficit which causes your body to burn fat.

That said there is NO more important step you can take than to drink lots of water.

Exercise is important, but pales in comparison to the value of calorie reduction in your diet. You're not likely to burn more than 300-400 calories/hour MAX in a gym and usually less than that. That's the calorie equivalent of two cookies. Focus on cutting back food, then use exercise to help.

Don't drive yourself crazy, allow yourself a break every now and then. Health is long-term goal and you'll have little setbacks along the way.

I recommend 'Body for Life' by Bill Phillips. It's a well structured and easy to follow fitness/weight loss method. I have had successful with it.

There aren't usually any diet supplements that help exercising 4-5 times a week for 20-30minutes a day is a good workout and work up to more if you want. The preference of cardio is up to you.You might want to try the gym for a while to try different types of equipment before purchasing to see which one you might want to buy

one way 2 lose a lot of weight is not eating after seven o'clock. i no its crazy but true. also the SOUTH BEACH DIET works really good. Its proven to work!!! go to teh gym, the best way is working your powerhouse. with sit ups, and that kinda stretches. GOOD LUCK!!! =-)
