I am a brunette with very fair skin. When my hairdresser colors my hair the skin around the hairline gets colored even though she puts on "a barrier gel". What else can be done? Thanks.

There are color removers that are especially formulated for the skin if the barrier gel isn't enough then she needs to use this technique when the color is due to be rinsed out rub the color on your skin with the color in your hair and rinse right away, it is the same principle as with gum when you've stuck it all over your skin. and hten if there is any color left she can use the remover. And a home trick for you, you can use cigarette ashes it really works rub it on the dyed skin and rinse off...

Just dab a little Vaseline around the hairline, the color won't take to the areas with Vaseline on it.
