Do you have any suggestions of small, sweet gestures that show that you like someone, but don't necessarily make the relationship move too fast? (An example of moving too fast would be, like, a kiss on the lips [for now]. We want to take it slow.)

I recently got dumped after a really serious, long-term relationship, so me and this new guy are making sure to take things slow. I'm still a little shaky.

Holding hands, gazing into each other's eyes, cute little notes, watching romantic movies, listening to romantic songs, unexpected compliments. These are all signs that you really like each other. Good for you! You will get to know each other and see if you're right for each other without the sex to cloud the issue.
