I have two puppies, 1 female 1/2 husky 1/2 malamute that is 3 months old and 1 St. benard puppy that is almost 2 months old. Me and my hubby have put them together on a leash and off and all they do is fight! I don't know if it's fighting because they arn't growling or showing teeth or anything like that. The Husky girl thinks she's the alph I think because she's always pushing the St. down. Me or my husband stop them when they fight or play like this because I'm scared the husky/malamute will hurt the sait because he's over a month younger then her. How long until they can run around outside together and now worry if one is gonna kill the other one? Should we let them be together on leashes or off leashes?

It (in my opinion) is a clear case of deciding dominance. You need to let them go at it so it does not become an issue when they get older and can hurt each other. At this young age they will push each other around, growl, snap, and possibly bite to decide it.We have 2 Bichon Frise (not as big as yours, but feisty still) that are 3 1/2 months apart and it had to be decided. Now they are the best o friends. Let them go at it, it is their nature. And do it off lead, because as they are rough housing a leash may get tangled

Having them neutered and spayed will help some.
Huskies are very active dogs and she may not calm down all that much.
My dogs play fight and it looks like a dog fight and sounds like one too. But no one bleeds and that is just how dobermans like to play. They chase eash other and grab each other by the neck and slam the one on the ground growl and bite.
Once the Saint gets a little bigger I would not worry much they should be fine to play figt all they want.
I would let htem sort it out. It is gonna have to happen at some point if you expect them to live together.
Many times the female is the top dog in the relationship as she dictates when they mate and often the female will be the alpha dog.

They're babies - playing rough at this age is normal. Let them be! They're finding their own place in the pack and will work it out between them. A husky is a naturally much more hyper dog than a saint. You didn't say if your saint bernard is a female too. If so, they will definitely get along better if both are spayed. It's pretty common for 2 females to fight (when they're older).

Eight and 12 week old puppies are probably playing not fighting. Especially since they are not growling. It is your job as the alpha pack members to supervise play time and make sure everyone is safe. They need to be allowed to play, it is during these times they will sort out their pack status and other things like bite inhibition, communication etc.. Get some books on raising puppies and read them, I recommend Patricia Mcconnel's books, she is awsome.

Sounds like puppy play to me. My Border Collie gets this every time when we go to her puppy kindergarten. It can sound fierce if growling kicks in, but it never is and they will let each other know if they've gotten hurt with a yelp. If they aren't hurting each other and it is indeed play, I would let them have some of this play time as it will help expend some of that puppy hyper energy. My BC crashes hard after puppy class and play time.

They are puppies trying to play. You should turn them loose together and let em go Dont worry about anything unless they draw blood. Puppies are rough. They dont really know much of anything yet and are trying to learn They wont kill each other though

First you need to teach both your dogs that you are the alpha and you decide what behavior is tolerated. Bigger dogs need a lot of exercise. Daily walks are a must. Once they see you as an alpha, they will respond to your commands. Dogs are naturally pack animals but this behavior can escalate if you don't take control.

Spaying and neutering will help.

They are playing, not fighting. They are being dogs, and should be allowed to do so. If you see any of them raise their hair on their back, or stiffen their body and stare, this is not play and you need to intervene.

Dogs need to play with other dogs. They learn a lot from their "pack members," such as how hard they can bite, ranking, etc.

If they are not really breaking skin then they are playing and they need to get used to eachother now when they are young. Once they get past 6 or 8 months you will not be able to just put them together if they did not grow up together.

Most male and female dogs usually hit it off well, and I really think they're just playing with one another, unless they're breaking the other's skin.Would suggest that you leave them together and let them grow up together, unless one has a bad temperment I think they will be ok.
