Not in mills where they recycle it into paper. They come straight out of the pulpers with the other rejects like CD's, plastic bags etc, because they don't absorb water in time to be pulped. Don't think they would pulp in a brown mill pulper either for the same reason.

Yes, of course, they are made of paper. The wax coating easily removes when they are being recycled.

not yet, I was told that they are not for now by recycling company. maybe in the future when machines able to do this and affordable.
