What reasons to you have for having so much anger towards other peoples beliefs?

I get angry with people who have no concept of what they are talking about. They start arguments without any intelligent evidence to back them up...then when you actually prove them wrong they say the stupidist things possible...it makes me really sad that people believe in something so much...yet they never question where it comes from...and then whey they do have questions they just go asking members of the church who will give them answers that fit the religion....I just hate stupid people.

It's one thing if a person has a belief. It's another if they, through their actions, cause that belief to negatively affect other people.

Religions do that. They teach people that one way is right and another wrong, even evil. They teach that the world is going to end in war. They teach that it's more important to work toward a fantasy happily-ever-after for a few, than toward a better world for everyone.
They teach self-righteousness, discrimination and separitism. They teach "it's us against them."

That makes me angry. It's my world, too.

I don't care what anyone believes. but you see beliefs have a way of being manipulated by the government or others who wish to get the majority on their side. religion has a way of making it's way into politics and tends to twist its victims to do ill will. that surely doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling. look at all of the religious wars. when people manage to keep their beliefs to themselves, I will lay off caring one way or the other.

I, personally, have no anger towards any other persons beliefs. Many do, but not all of us.
