All mythical Gods were indifferent to human suffering, and many were malicious, meaning that they set traps for us. In the Bible everywhere an angel appears there is trouble, yet people imagine angels as good.
Jesus and his Father are the opposite of the majority of other Gods in that they teach people to love others, not hate them, by example. However, a lot of people do not follow these teachings, yet still imagine themselves as blessed. I think they compete for the anti-christ position not realizing that that position has already been filled. God is just and his son said some of his followers would know the anti-christ, yet even the church ignores this timeline teaching to further some strange power grab.
So, are we in error when we treat others as if their insults to us are meaningless, as Jesus teaches? According to a Godless world, yes. ewwww on that world.

Jesus did start a lot of sh*t, no doubt about it. It is amazing that he can do that while being dead, isn't it?
Look at the crusades. Christians murdered countless denizens of other cultures in the name of DOG (sorry, dyslexic).
Since there is no DOG, man is to blame for wars. DOG just provides an apt excuse for it. All species war on each other. Mammals the world over attack and kill. It is the cycle of life. Man is the only one who quantifies it under the illusion of Allah, or God, or even politics.
What about man as God? When the spaniards first arrived in N. America, they were viewed as Gods. And they killed.

Not everything done in the name of Jesus or Christianity is in accordance with His will. If you read the New Testament and discover what Jesus teachings were you would understand that He is a God of peace and love.

Uh Candy dearie, EVE ate the apple, Adam was dumb enough to eat it after wards, but it was ultimately Eve, so get the facts straight.
It was the fruit from the tree of knowledge and religion causes suffering, not God.

contetion is of the devil - Christ taught to love thy neighbor - Any fighting is not in the name of Jesus and is an abomination to suggest such a thing.
YES the middle-east contentions are at the forgotten root a religious wars, but its not over Christianity and not over those who practice Christianity.
soes that mean Christians can't be soldiers? - no, ofcourse not. But the war itself and the reason they fight has nothing to do with fighting over who is more Christian.

Religion is the cause. Most wars are not actually caused by religion, but they sure are spurred on by them. It is also the cause of much of the division that causes wars.

Using your arguement, I would have to disagree. Allah would be the world's biggest trouble maker. I can't think of a single war that is being fought in Christ's name, but I can think of a hell of a lot of them that are being fought in "Allah's name."
And, before anyone tries to argue this, the Crusades were fought in the name of both Christ and Allah, further justifying my point.

"agencies" like hamas (or hamaz) are the project using fact they consistently choose for what they have no perfect to, like them desiring Israel. there is not any such component as a palestinian. The arabs hate the U. S. using fact we are rich and because we don't enable barbaric sharia regulation between different very backward ideals.

Name one place in the Bible where Jesus incited violence!
So since Jesus did not incite violence why are you blaming people that come in his name and dont do what he says?
Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him." -John 14:21

no, Jesus is not the world's biggest trouble maker
man is
man has taken His name and used it as a banner to dictate their own desires and force it on people
Jesus never told us to resort to violence in His name in order to get people to convert, we are to present the Truth and show them the way and let God do the rest
