Are appetite suppressants dangerous?

for example: If I take them for a few months , can they mess with my body and throw off my metabolism or immune system... or if I take them for a few months and then stop them, can doing this make me gain my weight back, or more?

well ok first thing you dont want to take an a ppetite suppressent because you are supposed to be eating 4 to 5 small meals a day...
