Coloring your hair is a personal choice. I too have dark brown hair, and have found that I really like the darker highlights in it. Mainly because if goes better with my complexion.

My daughter just get her hair done, it's thick & naturally but she straightens it. She went in for all over color. But decided on lowlights underneath and light blonde with platinum streaks in it on top. She looks awesome! And I had a similar procedure done a few weeks ago without as much blonde.
It is nothing like the old Hillary Duff look. Talk to your stylist or check looks in books or online.

Embrace the color of your hair. Its part of who you are. It will also save you a lot time and money but NOT having to maintain those highlights.

I think you should. My hair is thick and dark brown and I got blonde highlights and it looks really good. I think that you should and then you can look really good too!

i had blonde highlights with teh same type of hair as yours and got so fed up with them after a cple of months
lowlights (red tones) are more compatible with dral brown hair
however why not just try a new brown tone

honey it depends if you have dark skin get bright highlights but if you've got white skin get them dark or bright it does not matter the same for brown skin no dark highlights it'll make you look cheap

you should lighten ti up wiht like a carmal color and then also thinn it out leave your ahir about shoulder length that would be the best
