Okay now I belive in the bible. I believe that God created the earth. I think that those who think evolution all started with a "BIG BANG" Are idots. Now dont get me wrong, harvard and oxford dont just hand out diplomas to anyone, but tell me. How can you belive that because of an explosion we are here today. That you can possibly belive that our emotions and physical and spiritual NEEDS, came from a monkey. There is proof that god created the earth all around you, the beauty And physical proof. Im gonna give you a few examples of why i belive evolution is retarded.
#1: people used to think the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around the earth. All theroies, proved wrong.
#2: Evolutionists themselves are in a fight to belive exactly how the earth came to be. If they cant belive one thing, how can they expect the rest of us to?
#3: The bible. The number 1 seller ever. Belived by most of mankind.
#4 THE MISSING LINK. A gap between animals and humans. There is no ape-like person

Why people can never understand this is beyond me. Evolution does NOT say we came from monkeys. Evolution says monkeys and humans came from the same ancestry.

Example : You and your cousin are different people. You both are descendants of your grandfather. Neither of you are the same, nor were ever the same, but you come from common ground. That is what evolution states, only on a much larger scale and over a much longer period of time.

"#1: people used to think the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around the earth. All theroies, proved wrong."

Let me point out that the religious sect are the reason this was thought for so long.

"#2: Evolutionists themselves are in a fight to belive exactly how the earth came to be. If they cant belive one thing, how can they expect the rest of us to?"

In science that is a good thing. The fact that there are so many open paths in evolution means there is much to be figured out. With a creation aspect, there is nothing. No evidence, no open ends, because the whole theory can be stated in a sentence.

"#3: The bible. The number 1 seller ever. Belived by most of mankind."

Spider-man 2 was the biggest box office movie of all time....Is there a man running around with spider powers somewhere?

"#4 THE MISSING LINK. A gap between animals and humans. There is no ape-like person"

This is another common misconception. Again, from my initial response, humans didn't come from apes, they came from similar ancestry. There is no link between monkeys to humans because monkeys didn't change into humans.

My bet is you've never read a book on evolution. Go pick up a cheap used book at a book store and actually read it. There is mountains of evidence to support evolution.

#1. The belief that the earth was flat and the Sun revolved around Sun were disproven by Renaissance Scientists. Their scientific traditions were further refined, and led to the observations that resulted in the conclusion that the diversity of life exceeded that which could be explained by the Bible. From continued observations, more questions arose until Origin of Species created the first framework for testing the myriad observations. Evolution continues to test out as new techniques are developed and new finds are unearthed.

#2 Evolutionists are not in a fight. The fact that multiple hypotheses have been offered, and tests are developed to substantiate or disprove them upon the next technique or find demonstrates an honest commitment to learning.

#3 The Bible (I choose to capitalize it). The fact that people claim to believe it is irrelevant. You claim to believe it, but where in the teachings of Christ does it say that you should call people "idiots" or their ideas "retarded"?

#4 The fact that there are gaps in the fossil record leading to modern Man does not disprove evolution. Absence of proof is not proof of absence. The gaps are being filled in piece by piece and, to date, no piece has disproven evolution.

Evolution (at least on Earth) started billions of years after the Big Bang.

You clearly have not observed social interactions among the higher primates to see that their emotional lives are comparably rich to those of humans. It is our greater intelligence that allows us spiritual lives -- thoughts of something greater than what we can see or touch.

Planets and galaxies are created all the time. Do some research on that, there are pictures of colliding galaxies all over the web. Thats how we came to be.

Now, for your points.
#1. Stupid argument. What does a flat earth have to do with religion? I won't even quantify this for you. People also use to think that there was a homonculus in every blood cell. Time changes theories as our knowledge expands.

#2. Every form of science has its factions that believe something different. Physics, Math, Chemistry, Medicine.....they all have internal groups that believe something different. The same is true for those who support evoloution. The same is also VERY true for religion, christianity for example. You have religious zealots who have ceremonies with snakes, those who supposedly talk in tongues, or something even simpilar....catholics and protestants all teach religion differently.

#3. So. This just proves people like fairy tales. It is also the first book ever printed, maybe thats why.

#4. So we haven't found the missing link, just Lucy. Ostrolopiticus (sp?) is the closest yet. But, look how big the Earth is. There is a lot of ground to cover while looking for the past. Millenia of centuries are buried, and people have only been into searching for the "missing link" for about 80 years now. Not long when you consider the age of the earth.

Which brings me to my next point. The age of the earth. If you truly believe in Genesis, then the Earth was created only 7,000 years ago. We also walked with the dinosaurs 7K years ago. All carbon dating science is wrong (even though GOD created carbon and its radioactive decay). That is creationism, my friend. And it is a bunch of BS.

I have a question for you. 1st there was Adam & Eve. Then Cain and ABle. Cain killed Able. Cain took a wife. Where did his wife come from? I love how f'd up the fairy tale of Genesis is.

1-You need a better understanding of the word theory. In science a theory is the conclusion drawn after enough verifible evidence has been found. When its only a guess, its a hypothesis.
2-Evolutionists don't fight over the origins of the earth. Evolution is the study of how complex organisms (humans included) came to their present states, from much simpler organisms. And there is no fight in science over the origin of the earth...its accepted as the Big Bang.
3-Popular doesn't make it right. Most of mankind believed the earth was flat and that the sun revolved around it. Invalid arguement.
4-The missing link is one of those arguements in semantics, created by biblical scholars when evolution began to achieve acceptance. What creationists fail to understand, is simply that macro-evolution and micro-evolution are the same thing. Macro is the culmination of millions of tiny micro-evolutionary changes. Because the vast majority of evolutionary changes happen to tissues that do not survive the fossilization process, the church choose to claim that they didn't occur, for no reason other than that they didn't see them (ironic in itself when you look at the god belief).

If you want articles that show that, yes indeed, evolution has been proven, google the phrase "proof of evolution". Go to any of the thousands of scientific websites (leave out the ones that have any sort of faith based name-their biased), and you'll find thousands of articles.

Why do people ask questions (although adding a question mark to a statement doesn't make it a question) about the origins of the universe and the origins of life on earth when they obviously know nothing about science or how it works. All you are doing is issuing a challenge to people to refute your premises (if they can, which you obviously didn't think they could). What kinds of answers did you expect? Maybe something like: Oh, yes, I see! You are right and everyone else is wrong! If that's what you wanted, it would have been better not to use the word "idots" which I'm sure you meant to read "idiots." Sure, I'll believe someone I have never met and know nothing about especially if he calls me an idiot. Oh, and I could give you websites to visit, but you wouldn't do it anyway or you would and not believe anything they say. And when you spell it "articals" you obviously wouldn't understand them anyway. Here, folks, we have a good example of a person who revels in his stupidity.

Wow, and you think we are idiots!!!
No where in your ramblings did you even come close to rational thought.
1# There was never a "scientific theory" for a flat Earth.
2# Evolution does not try at predict planatary formation. Cosmologist have done an excellent job of explaining that.
3# The Bilbe is not believed by most humans, Chritians make up less than 20% of the Earths population and not all of those believe literally in the Bible.
4# The "missing" link is a creationist strawman. There are lots of transitional Homo species in the fossil record. In fact the fossil record is amazingly complete.
Go do your own research. Go read a book. You might want to start with "The Blind Watchmaker".

#1: this is the theory presented by the Bible and one that the religious people would have roasted you for questioning, look up the name Gallileo.

#2: they are in agreement on the main points and are testing their ideas constantly against real facts. If your disbelief is strong enough to create a cleaner theory that agrees with the facts or makes testable predictions you might be able to win a Nobel Prize for it. Or you can continue to believe your bible that tells you that the world was flat.

#3: just tells you that a lot of people are very gullible.

#4: Like it or not we are all "apelike persons", Humans are animals, we are not mineral, and we are a species of ape, not Octopuses.

edit: you want an artcle? will you promise to read it? well try this one.

Obviously you have never completed a biology class.

People say evolution is a theory. Well....In order for something to BECOME a theory there must be EVIDENCE! It is not "just a theory"

There is plenty of evidence.

The "explosion" you are talking about has not been PROVED but is is believed to have caused billions of chemical reactions, (something you have no idea about)

Evolution and the big bang are two different theories.

Go back to school

The bible is NOT believed bymost of mankid.

You really need some more education.

I agree- I too believe the Bible (Word of God) To be infallable and I believe God did create the world in 7 days....And as I always post this scripture, I will do it again~

Romans 1:20
20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

The bible IS the best selling book of all time,
#2 is The Sayings of Chairman Mao...
#10 is Valley of the Dolls.
Popularity proves nothing.

Did I mention you're an "idot"??
