An alcohol hangover is associated with a variety of symptoms that may include dehydration, tiredness, headache, nausea, diarrhea, weakness, hypersalivation, difficulty concentrating, anxiety, irritability, sensitivity to light and noise and trouble sleeping. The symptoms vary from person to person, and occasion to occasion, usually beginning several hours after drinking. It is not clear whether hangovers affect cognitive abilities.

A hangover is the side effect of over-drinking. Side effects don't have side effects. The SYMPTOMS of a hangover are nausea, headaches, disorientation, depression, lethargy, a strong sense of remorse, & loss of motor skills. All of the above are temporary, & are usually gone in 24 to 48 hours after the last drink has been consumed.
