Witches have their spells...
Psychics have their 'abilities'...
Astrologers have their charts...
Is that right so far?

Witches can't demonstrate their spells to scientists or skeptics.. so they just don't work!
Psychics can't prove their 'abilities' to scientists or skeptics.. so their 'abilities' are imaginary or decietfull!
Astrologers can't explain how a rich man's son and a poor man's son could have completely different lives...even if born in adjacent rooms at the exact same time.. so it just doesn't work!!
But prayer does work, although you can't show it because that would be testing god, is that right?

Prayers don't work. Saying that you can't "test" god is called "special pleading".

Studies have shown that Christians live about as long as anybody else. If their "healing prayers" work, they sure don't show up on any statistics. Does God kill an equal number of Christians as he saves to keep the statistics from "testing" him?

I don't know about witches and such so---------.
Prayer is not testing. It is asking, it is acknowledging, it is making yourself feel good, it is many things. It is testing when that is the reason you are doing it. And that can't really be considered a prayer, I don't think. But yes, Prayer does work. You may get an answer, you may not. (if you do not recieve an answer, that would mean that --even though that is what you think you want--it will be decided, in your best interest, that it is not for you. And you may get an answer with out even realizing you recieved one. The answers are not timely, but can be, depending on the situation.

before you Mock and deny the power(s) of witchcraft(s) do not be quick to SAY the power of Prayer is 100% effective too.!
I had some of my very first prayers answered in miraculous mannerisms. But NOT all of my prayers have always been answered. do deny psychis their gifts (ahem, of the spirit) either, although they look like fools and probably most of their visions come from the dark side, the fact is many people do have positive results from GOOD honest psychics.
With all Jesus' divinity there were still people that rebuked him as the devil.
Witchcraft and sorcery is the worst kind of sins in th eworld especially if you dont know how to defend yourself against. Maybe you think witchcraft is a powerless practice because you've never been slammed by the darkside. but i guarantee you, once satan determines to Oppress someone he usually does not let go.

well see this is where you are wrong
even prayer can and has been tested
psychics have and are tested regularly
mediums are tested scrutinously
spells etc can also be tested
and since astrology is precition then the proof is in the happening
but if you are looking for proof from sceptics then they will swear black is white if they feel so
try this link for some serious study into many of the above from respected scientists and names

And for the happy skeptics misbelieving there is no scientific proof, here are a couple of good sites for you.

Dr. Rupert Sheldrake, one of the world's most innovative biologists, has revolutionized scientific thinking with his vision of a living, developing universe with its own inherent memory. He first worked in developmental biology and is best known for his theory of Morphic Fields and Morphic Resonance. His latest book, "The Sense of Being Stared at" develops his concept of the extended mind. http://www.sheldrake.org/

The Institute of Noetic Sciences http://www.noetic.org Explores the frontiers of consciousness to advance individual, social, and global transformation.

While were at it let’s hit the old ‘Never Seeing Psychics Win Lottery myth too. A great psychic I've known for over 20 years just won the lottery. She saw THAT coming! You can check out her story and the TV interview here. http://www.psychic-junkie.com/psychic-wins-lottery.html

I do believe that it all can be proven. What really matters is are you able and open for it to be proven to. We all believe what is self serving. So if for you that means to not believe in psychics, witches, so on and so on. Then you wont, it is that simple.
Like me who believes it isnt a complete waste of my time to answer this question. Others may, which is why they didnt answer. I wish you well.

Well the real answer is that God is the power of prayer. That is why we cannot manipulate Him to do what we demand. Like heal us when we demand that He keep His Word or make us rich when we think that he owes US something.

It's hard to demonstrate that prayers work to skeptics. Even if things you pray for come true, they would just say that it's a coincidence.

Prayer does work but NOT when WE want them to be answered when WE want them to in our timeframe. God answers prayers when GOD feels it is appropraite timing and how.

I have "seen" many prayers and have my own testimonial to that and that we can show it! One can see god working through someone else.

I have the power of prayer and have seen it and know it.
prayers=factual
