Go to phazeddl.com and search for windows genuine advantage and download a few cracks and then try a few of them .
I have a working crack(which i have used successfully and the windows xp has remained stable for the past 6 months.send an email to vimalbhaya@yahoo.com to ask for the crack ).
Then you will be able to update easily.
Whatever happens do not buy microsoft crap as there is no point in making the richest person on Earth more richer.
Use Linux FOX distribution(Download from fox-linux.org) -its nearly the same as MAC in appearance with loadz of functions.

everyone's probs dude. wel, der r Windows genuinuity advantage (WGA) cracks available there in hackers sites, needless to say for free.
but these WGA cracks are very unstable, can cause harm or even may be responsible for detection of genuinity resultin into stop functioning of windows.
So, if u want to risk it, google it down for WGA cracks and see if u win jackpot.. but better to stay away from all these craps and buy a legel copy and be happy forevr.

here is your problem you said that your windows is not original how can you claim it.i think it is not genune means that it is provided by web sources and is a temporary product by or testing product by microsoft. generally explore 7 is a beta version
which is adwanced technology by microsoft it will update on only win sp only and first you cahange your os to new version? available which is present. check your internet options in adwanced section verify your options.

u can't get updates in a fake copy of windows u need to have an original copy

then get internet faster connection
then go to www.microsoft.com website then u can download ....
and Upgrade free... but need first spend some money for learn...
