Well, Tim Horton says there is no nicotine or MSG in his coffee, that , that is an urban myth. His coffee consists of Arabic beans from several coffee growing countries. That's the scoop of it!

Tim Hortons policy is to serve their coffee within 20 minutes from brewing or gets thrown out, so it more than likely has more caffeine than a cup of coffee that was brewed 1 hour ago. After all the longer you heat something, the more it loses of it's nutrients, etc.

Their coffee contains no additives, whatsoever. To make sure the coffee is always fresh, Tim Hortons has a standard to follow … "If it's not sold within 20 minutes of being brewed, it's not served at all."

Could be you body's reaction to caffeine. The have added chicory to lighten and enrich the flavour but it still tastes like crap and has for the past 8 years.

It is probably the amount of caffeine in the coffee. If you are drinking a decaf, then it might be how your system handles caffeine
