It could be hidden...drag your mouse to the bottom (or whatever side the taskbar was on) until it appears, right click > Prefs > un-tick "hide the taskbar"

Another thing is it could be dragged all the way down to the point where you can't see, if this is the case drag your mouse to the bottom (or, once again, wherever you had it) and right click > untick lock the taskbar, or if it already is, skip this step > click and hold your mouse and drag the taskbar up until it is visible.

If none of these helps, just try restarding (Ctrl - Alt -Dlt) in the menu bar click restart > Restart.

One other thing, your browser could be in full screen mode, if this is the case, simply press F11 in most browsers.

right click above and look trough them or try pressing F11
