Egg whites are nearly pure protein, and doesn't contain the cholesterol in an egg. This is in the yoke. Some scientest are now saying eggs have good cholesterol.
But egg white should not hurt you. however most state health agences and the feds say eating raw eggs isn't good for you as diseases are easier to catch.
The problem started about 15/20 years a go when a group of chickens in hatcheries in the north east were found to contain virsus dangerious to humans.
Due to pressure form the poultry industry, and the farmers there as well as state leaders looking out for the profits of a few the chickens were not distroyed., and th evirsus spread.
Tha tis why you ar enot suppose dto eat raw eggs(I still have mine sunyside up:)
Protein can also be found in green beans, peas, driend beans, cabbage, and many other veggies a lot less dangerious than eating raw eggs.
It's possible you could get sick from eatting raw eggs.

Well, unless you enjoy the taste of slime, I'm guessing it'd make you puke.

Working out every day and eating a balanced diet are the only safe way to build muscles. Sure, the protein in the egg whites might give you a boost in musculature, but it will also give you a boost in empty calories. There's also the added danger of consuming uncooked food. Ever heard of salmonella?

An egg white is an excellent protein source and contains almost no other macronutrients except water.
Think of a Large egg white as having about 17 calories: 4 grams protein, 0 carbs, 0 fat.
Just make sure they are fresh! You don't want to get sick from spoiled raw eggs.

EGG PROTEIN
Egg protein is one of the highest quality proteins on supplement shelves. If you do not regularly eat eggs, consider adding an egg white protein powder to your diet. Egg protein may be labelled egg protein, egg white protein, egg white solids or egg white albumin.
Benefits Egg protein has a high BV, and it boasts a great amino-acid profile, including a high amount of sulphur-containing amino acids that are critical to the body’s hormone-producing pathways. Egg protein is virtually devoid of carbohydrates and fat, making it a great choice for those who are dieting and for those allergic to whey or casein (milk proteins).

What will egg whites do? Give you a bad stomach ache. The best thing that you can do that I know of....Gatorade. Electrolytes and all that jazz. However, egg whites are extremely good for your hair. (As conditioner, not a drink)

1) It will make you gag - it's like drinking elephant snot.
2) You'll wind up with a whole lot of egg yolks that you won't know what to do with.

Just eat a balanced diet and get plenty of exercise.
