When it is cold, I love to eat the following (mainly because it reminds me of being a kid I guess): tomato soup w/ mozzarella cheese; butter toast and hot chocolate; cinnamon oatmeal.

I love my turkey as do most people because it;'s special at our house and always have been. It means more than trukey or christmas or thanksgiving. It's a meal specially prepaired for family. More is put into these two meals than any othermeal,
We generally have turkey, and ham or turkey one holiday and ham th eother or both. with dressin, potato salad, all of the pies, sweet tea, ambrosia, and peas/beans.It's just a special time and a special reason to make a good meal.

Sauerkraut and hot dogs with lots of buttery mashed potatoes and some kneflies (German dumplings cooked in butter). Yum!
This just reminds me of when I was a little girl and would come in from the cold and smell the sauerkraut cooking. Grandmother always fixed homemade apple sauce with it too. Wow, I think I'll fix this for supper. Gotta get to the store! Bye bye <:-)

My Mother makes a mean soup with ground meat, 2 cans of Manwich sauce, potatoes, shelled corn, pinto beans, onions, and stewed tomatoes. I'm not overly fond of stewed tomatoes, but there are only a few so I go ahead and eat them or take them out. I eat cornbread with it...MMM! It is so filling.

Where to start?! I love comfort food like meatloaf, mashed potates, stuffing, also pastas and things like that. Winter is warm and cozy indoors and that's not the heavy stuff you don't feel like eating when it's summertime. Think thanksgiving...
