If he is bringing more negative (i.e. aggravation, stress, fights, insecurity, rage, etc) into you life than positive...you have to weigh it fairly and move on. Also, if he brings out the worst attributes in your personality - that's another sign. A SO is sup'd to lift us up and bring out the best in us for the majority of the time. Also, if the majority of your friends and family (who know you and love you the most) are consistently telling you to get rid of him (or you'd be better off without him)...that is a definite sign!

There's so many more, i.e. if you find yourself thinking of being with someone else alot - if he's not treating you right. To be honest, the fact that you're asking this question says to me that it might be time. I would never ever even think this question, and I am very happy in my marriage. Get it??

Good luck whatever you decide. Don't settle when you could have so much more.

Relationships can be compared to bank accounts. When you continue to see deposits, the bank account is healthy. When you see more withdrawals than deposits, the bank account is in trouble and when you stop seeing money going into the account, but the withdrawals continue, bankruptcy is inevitable. Similarly, relationships can suffer if there is more negative than positive. Make yourself a checklist of both negatives and positives in the relationship. Taking time to analyse what is working and what is not working is a useful exercise. If you see that the "negative" column is longer than the positive and that there is no chance of repairing what is wrong...then, honey, move on.

Ask yourself - am I happy with the idea of being with this person another week/month/year? If the answer's no, it's time to move on.

My dear friend,
Please don't be upset with life. Remember, you are not getting another chance to born again and start another new life. So you have to move on with your life and try to focus on what do you want to do with your life. Whether you want to stick with a person who can't make you happy or will you give your life a second chance to dream again with a new person and a new relationship.
