*It can be very rapid but depends on the foods you eat that are included in the 300-500 cal a day limit. In my opinion 300-500 cals a day is not very beneficial to your health...more calories and slower weight loss will provide you with better results.*

Well, most people call this starving to death. There are people in Sudan who eat more than that. Sure, you will lose weight but it will be mostly muscle mass because in times of starvation it is a better energy source. Oh, and you brain quits functioning too. You brain's sole energy source is glucose and if you don't take in enough, your body has to make it from protein of the muscle, which doesn't work out too well. You HAVE to eat at least 1200 calories a day. Any more weight loss than two pounds a week and you can suffer serious malnutrition, neurological deficits, and muscle wasting.

First, that's starvation mode so you will be losing a lot less than you would be if you were eating at least 1000 calories a day. Without your height /weight, age, and an idea of how much exercise you get daily I really cannot say. But at the calorie intake you listed, you will be causing more body harm than good. See your doc and let him/her put you on a proper diet/exercise program.

That is considered a starvation diet and your body will shut down, your metabolism will cease to burn calories and hold on to every one for dear life. You will probably not lose any weight at all. Eventually of course you will if you do it long enough but you will also be sick and fatigued.
It is a REALLY stupid thing to do.
You may do permanent damage to your metabolism so that you can never lose weight in a normal way.
Bad idea. You need to get the facts on a healthy way to diet.
You should not cut your caloric intake to less than 900 calories. To do so will harm you nutritionally.
Good luck

It depends on the persons metabolism, & amount of activity & exercise. But only 300 - 500 calories/day is extremely low for an adult, or young adult. Just about starvation level I would say. I think whoever plans to keep their daily caloric intake to 500 calories or less needs to re-think their weightloss strategy, or get some serious help.

It won't matter. If they keep up eating that low amount of calories, they will be either sick or dead soon. Rapid weight loss never stays - it always comes back. In order to keep weight off, you have to lose it slowly. That is a true gauge of actual weight loss. Extreme low calories intakes hurts all your organs and your hair/skin, etc will all suffer. Don't do it.

I won't inform you the way it is undesirable. i think of you already understand that. i'll tell you which you're possibly to lose fairly some muscle, after which you will hit a wall. you will no longer lose something greater. it is via fact once you go below 1200 energy an afternoon, your physique is going into "starvation mode." fairly some the energy taken in would be saved as fat via fact the physique thinks it desires to shop skill. It slows your metabolism to maintain %. with what you're giving it. Your ultimate guess is to exercising (motorbike-using for 30 minutes an afternoon is a great plan!), stay above 1200 energy, and get maximum of your energy from organic, unrefined meals. make certain which you do get sufficient fiber (35+ grams) and protein (your weight x 0.34, in grams of protein) and those will additionally help you drop some pounds, as properly as take care of muscle and boost metabolism. solid luck :)

Probably a tonne of muscle....you need at least 1,200 calories if you want to lose fat and maintain muscle. Don't be a dumbass and lose weight sensibly or you will mess up your metabolism and end up fatter than you were before! Listen to the voice of reason. Take care : )
