All cordless phones come with a charger and batteries Uniden is a good choice and panasonic is good also. Try to get one with at least 2 handsets, then you can use one while the other is charging I searched on walmart for a cordless phone with answering machine and they start around $30 and go over $200 depending on how many phones you get. I think there was over 90 choices online If you have voicemail you can do without the answer machine. Good luck and enjoy

I suggest Best Buy. Stick with Uniden. 5.8 Ghz is fine, nothing wrong with 2.4 Digital. For security stay with a digital phone, no matter what brand. As far as I know Uniden still sells the most cordless phones.

if your looking for a cell phone without a contract then off of ebay. If you are looking for a house phone, then go to Best Buy, they have an awsome selection. Go with a Panasonic. Anything you do, go with a panasonic 5.8 Ghz. These phones are awsome. I have one at my house and i even bought my grandma this same phone. Its really easy to hear out of and it also has speaker phone on the handset so if they really have trouble hearing, then it will be great. I highly recomend it. They also last the longest without breaking. You will be very happy with it.

An Electronic store like Target, Best Buy, or Radio Shack. I usually go to Best Buy, because you can buy the extended warranty if something goes wrong with the phone, which is good for high use electronic things.
