Liking or disliking a person on some pretext is different. Yahoo Answer forum is a open forum and all participants may not like the views of each other. We are expressing our views feelings and reaction on certain questions which need not be palatable to everybody. As a human being I will definitely help any person who is in emergency and need of helpt to maximum extent I can irrespective of the fact whether i like him or not on different platforms. This is a human gesture.

I think most people have a sense of basic humanity that takes priority over petty dislikes for others. There are people I dislike intensely but I would still feel compelled to help them if they had an accident.

Yes I would help them. All of the reasons these people have for why they mock me, report me, thumb me down and even dislike me stem from them having unhappiness in their heart. They are human and deserve compassion.

i'm a Christian. i became raised to attend to others the way i'd want to be dealt with. You get insulted...turn the different cheek. in my opinion it really is incorrect to furnish someone you dislike a thumbs down even as they have given a good answer. Mike ok summed it up particularly nicely. To deliberately provide thumbs down shows a lack of adulthood. those who go via existence with animosity will answer to God in spite of the indisputable fact that they stumble on him to be. existence is in basic terms too short to go via it playing video games. :)>- there are diverse large solutions in this. good question too.

Since no one on here uses A) their real name or B) their real picture ... how would we know that they were someone we hated on Y/A?

In regards to your question, probably no, unless I was their friend in real life, no, I wouldn't help. I'm not a "good samaritan".

I'd help anyone in any type of trouble no matter if I've had argument and fights with them or not. If I didn't, it would say more about me than it would about them.

Wow. It's just YahooAnswers...I wouldn't risk someone's life by not helping just because I didn't like what they had to say here.

Well, of course. How stupid would it be to actually let something like Answers! effect your real life.

I'm not going to get my feelings hurt by someone I've never met and neither should you.
