Holding your stomach muscles in is a type of isometric contraction which (if you do it enough) could result in building up the abdominal muscles. Building abdominal muscles will burn more calories through the day because every pound of lean muscle burns more calories per day than any other type of body tissue. And the abs may increase in size. If you do absolutely nothing to get rid of the overlying abdominal fat, this could increase the size of the waist.

Eat a healthy diet that does not bring into your body more calories than you use, do some cardio, lift some weights and that will get you on your way to a superstar body.

Sucking in your stomach will make it flatter and it also increases your metabolism the more you do it. The abdominal muscles are the main focus of Pilates, but you don't have to follow a program to use the principle. Just suck that stomach in whenever you can,,after a while it becomes natural. I am 33 years old and I have had 2 children. My stomach is flat and I weigh about 125 ( I am 5'11")

As far as I know, merely sucking in your stomach just makes it appear thinner for the moment. It may burn a few calories but nothing significant enough to build muscles. I would suggest that you do some sit ups and crunches to build muscle.

Simply sucking in your stomach wouldn't "increase stomach fat", I'm not entirely sure what you meant there. Maybe you meant decrease stomach fat?

"sucking in" your stomach does not build muscles, and does not increase stomach fat.
sucking in your stomach will not make your stomach look flatter, it will make it look concave. Plus, it's kind of hard to do for long periods of time, and makes it look like you're sticking out your boobs/chest in a weird way.

Standing with good posture, and using your abdominal muscles to prevent yourself from looking like you have a pot-belly can help strengthen your abdominal muscles, but this should not increase stomach fat.

So, Just keep trying your stomach to tone up with regular schedule of exercises to tone up the body muscle, lest you try to define your 'ABs' or redefine your cosmetic flatness sometimes leads to other problems which should never be overlooked

Keep yourself Physically busy it helps more ...

Sucking in your stomach does not increase your muscles nor does it make your stomach flat. If it did we would all be walking around with six packs.

Well it will build muscle. And if you overbuild the muscles in your stomach, you can get a slight muscle bulge there, but it is not fat.
