k, so im in 8th grade and all throughout summer break i went out w/ this guy. we split the day b4 school started and now we hate e/o. so he was tellin his best friend john whoi is also now my friend tht i giva a lot of a** and the furethest tht i went w/ him is BJ/fingering---he also almost hit a homerun. so i was like 2 john, do u belive him and he said no, but hes tellin lots'o'peeps wht i did w/ him. hes a stoner and im a half goth and get good grades, do u think ill lose my rep?

It probably will hurt your reputation, but for pete's sake, your in 8th grade, what the heck are you doing "fingering". Why don't you save it for a time when you don't care about your "rep" and for a guy who won't be a prick and spread rumors about you?

you already have a bad rep...tell ya how to change it...first stop dressing goth...get a respectable look...do the goth on your own time and not at school... get rid of the dark makeup....go light shades and natural shades...lip gloss without color, hint of peach tone for your cheeks and eyes....eyeliner...go with a gray...or brown instead of black or dark colors...do your natural hair color add some high lights and a hair cut that you've never considered...but is easy to manage....and as far as clothing...cover up to make guys wonder....not grab or gossip, you can wear nice things that make you look smart, even geek like, whatever...just no fads or trendy stuff... this will begin to get your rep in a better light by teachers and general public, then get your act together, speak in full sentences and never look away, always straight in the eyes. Be proud of yourself, and study hard getting your highest possible grade...purchase the parrallel NIV - MESSAGE HOLY BIBLE... and start reading it! Start visiting youth groups and churches that you can grow as a Christian in...look up the verse ACTS 20:21 and live you life by it! get your locker changed to another area...tell the principal that you need to get the new locker and tell him/her your plan of changing the way people percieve you...continue to tell the principal that you need the new locker where people don't know you so you can have a fair chance to not be stuck with your old labels and surrounded with critics and judged by them. Oh and you can leave out the information about your summer fling!

well sweetie let me start off by saying that you sound very, loose(no offense) what was the rush to have sex? im 18 and havent done ne of that stuff but ne wayz letz get back to the question at hand;. since you chose to be sexually active you must know that with sex comes responsibility. the first thing you should of done was choose the right person to give your goodies to shall i say if he was a stoner what made you think he would respect you and not blab off at the mouth? second if you were worried about your reputation you wouldent have slept with his friend..his best friend at that. of course he(john) believes you did sumthin with his bf it is his bf hello he just wants to keep getting ***! your in 8th grade i think you should give it a break when you find the right person when your a little older dont you want to have something special between you? not to mention your high risk of getting stds

Judging by how you spell, I don't think your rep is good to begin with. Everyone has rumors spread about them is school, and as soon as the next rumor comes out, no one will remember what was said about you. But for the record, you did have sex. . . doesn't anyone remember the whole Clinton scandal? BJs are sex, so maybe if you get a rep from this, you deserve it. Sorry.

You might think it matters but your REP is pretty much meaningless until you are about 20. The whole goth deal is ok but its gonna chase away friends anyhoo. Your real Friends will always be there for ya...dont think you have to have a boatload of Friends. Don't use drugs...don't drink too much...keep you pants on around guys until you are about 25 and out of college with a good job. Associate with people that encourage you to better yourself...deadbeats have a way of dragging other people down with them. Kids arent stupid..adults might treat you like a baby but we really know you have a mind of your own...dont get in trouble to get attention...find an adult you can trust who can help you with issues and who you can talk to about anything. Oh ya and high school is meaningless, other than getting scholarships for college.

You're just going to have to ride the storm on this one and ignore what he's telling everyone and tell the truth only if you're asked. You need to be careful about who you next go out with because more stories like this really will ruin your rep. You may find lots of guys want to be with you cos they now think you're easy - SO Beware. Learn more about the person you're with before you decide to date

yes, you will loose your rep. you are way too young to be giving blow jobs and allowing fingering to happen and to be getting close to homerun. you will regret it as you are older and can't take back your younger days. believe me, I'm 42 and still regret my promiscuity as a teen. it hurt me for many years. don't let yourself hurt yourself like that. you only think of the here and now and you need to think about your future...i never thought i'd live this long let alone be worried or bothered by my past.
