Depends on the person, if he/she is really terrified of needles they'll say 10. But I'm not really scared of needles so I would say 1.

It depends on the person. When I was in 5th grade, I went to the high school to get a flu shot, and the nurse said that there were high schoolers yelling. But when I went to take the shot, it didn't really hurt. I would have to say on a scale of 1-10, a 1, 1 1/2. But it all depends on the person. Just don't be afraid to get one. I think that it's the fear of the needle that makes it hurt real bad.

It depends on how high or low your pain tolerance is. If you have a low pain tolerance it will hurt more, but think of it this way better to have a shot once then the flu which could end you up in a hospital bed with a IV which hurts worse and if the vein goes bad they may have to do it again. Good Luck you will be fine....right before you get the shot rub the area really hard and then when she puts the shot in you won't even feel it.

Maybe a 1-2. It's not too bad. Take Ibuprofen following the shot. Your arm can be sore for a day or two after the shot. I'd rate that about a 2 as well.

The flu shot is a nil. I had one the day previous and that i replace into thoroughly caught off shield while my well being care provider asked me if i wanted one. I hesitated on the reaction and he made the determination for me. I have been given sick after the 1st one I had so I each and every so often hesitate getting one. yet i be attentive to when I first observed it i presumed it would desire to be uncomfortable by way of quantity in the syringe, yet I under no circumstances felt the needle go in and that i under no circumstances felt any of the medicine or the needle pop out. It replace into the simplest shot i've got ever gotten. It rather would not harm in any respect and you do not experience a venture. nevertheless at the instant my arm is particularly sore yet it rather is almost a 2.

Really It just depends on how you feel about the shot. Like say if your really frightened of shots or needles, your mind will view it like a 8 or higher. If it doesn't bother you much, maybe a 3 or lower. To me getting the shot is about a 2 or 3. but after Awhile, I'm a little sore. But not too bad.

It's not the fact that there is a piece of metal jabbing your skin.
It's the fact that the body is recieving an 'unknown' substance, and it's temperature has much a greater difference.
The cold constricts the blood vessels....
It should only hurt for a moment.
But your arm will hurt for about a day.
It's just the effect the shot gives.
But wouldn't you rather have a sore arm for a day, than get sick?
Feeling miserable all the time...
Ugh.
Give me the needle, please.
lol, Goodluck mate.
Cheers.

i'm going to answer this becasue i'm biased but experienced ok? :-)
i'm a type 1 diabetic ( since i was 6, and i've been getting flu shots since then so i know) i inject myself a few times a day with insulin, so i have no problems with needles. but a flu shot is a little different. i does hurt a little more and people do get a sore for awhile afterward sometimes. so i have a reccomendation for you if you go through with it ok?
rotate your arm asap afterward in big big circles just to get everyting pumping, it definately keeps the soreness away.

Assuming 1 hurts the least, it's a 1.
