First of ALL no one is correct in Everything. The Catholics are correct because they claim authority from Peter. Yet the protestants claim they lost the right of authority through some Popes being excommunicated. The protestants wanted the truth and didnt want censorship so the LEFT the one truth religion. Muslims have Mohammed and mohammed taught he was the last prophet so there can never be any other, yet Emums are the propphets of their religions today. The LDS church has Prophets, even a prophet that talked with God and Jesus, but does the church really follow the RESTORED truths that this one man brought into the world.
All churches/religions have FAITH! All churches have liars and false teachers. All religions have people that are deceived by the devil/satan. There are only two churches, the church of the lamb and the church of satan. if any church is called by another name than it cannot be the church of jesus christ.
As i bear witness of the glory of jesus christ and have had 3 vision to testify of. Even with such a testimony i had a dream where a voice told me I was only 73% correct on biblical teachings.

Christians have faith, the definition of faith is "a firm belief in something for which there is no proof." So they really don't know. But everyone has a right to believe in what they want. I believe there is more than 1 way to heaven.

For most, religious beliefs are based upon faith and not the collection of scientific data.

For those approach their religious beliefs on the basis of faith (not rationalistic proofs) the correctness of their beliefs are self-evident - albeit, perhaps, just to themselves.

To put it in purely secular terms, the final arbiter of the truth of ones beliefs is the intuitive perception of that person. This is not to say that people do not have rational reasons for their faith, but rather when is comes to the concept of a Supernatural, Transcendent Being, the use of science and logic are necessarily inadequate.

Honestly, I don't know for sure that I am right. I trust that what I have chosen to believe is the truth.
It's hard to go on "feelings" because anyone can get excited about what they're doing, and sometimes those can mislead you.
I believe Jesus to be the truth and He is who I will follow. If I am wrong, I will have to suffer the consequences, like everyone of different faiths.

They don't, they simply buy any BS that makes them "Feel" good and then they preach it to any sucker they can sell it too.

Their thinking if flawlessly circular *The book says it is true so it is true! Te-he* and thus they never go a step further and accept they could have it *** back wards, for all they know Satan could have been the good guy, or Zeus and god is really a demon cast out by Zeus and is masquerading as a god for all they know.

All they have is a book older then the concept of toilet paper with insane improbabilities to out right impossibilities that self contradicts.

There are 2860 Gods, pick any you like they are all equally real if you can turn your brain off long enough.

The last of prophets in the order of time was Malachias.

Latin Vulgate
Douay-Rheims Bible

Second Epistle Of Saint Peter
Chapter 2

1 But there were also false prophets among the people, even as there shall be among you lying teachers, who shall bring in sects of perdition, and deny the Lord who bought them: bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their riotousnesses, through whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you. Whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their perdition slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but delivered them, drawn down by infernal ropes to the lower hell, unto torments, to be reserved unto judgment

11 Whereas angels who are greater in strength and power, bring not against themselves a railing judgment. 12 But these men, as irrational beasts, naturally tending to the snare and to destruction, blaspheming those things which they know not, shall perish in their corruption, 13 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you: 14 Having eyes full of adultery and of sin that ceaseth not: alluring unstable souls, having their heart exercised with covetousness, children of malediction

As a convert to the Catholic Faith I knew before hand about various types of religions, mostly protestant. If you look at history you can see that protestants.... (and think about the word pro test tant) changed their religion and beliefs based on what is good for them at the time. The protestant churchs compared to Martin Luthers day are not nearly the same because their beliefs have 'evolved' and changed to suit they way they want to live their life instead of the way that God would want them to live their life. If you read history you will see that the Catholic church has always been the highlight of every age. It started with the Jews and then Christ came to earth to fulfill the promise to the Jews and hince the Catholic church and it was not until 1500 years after Christ that man decided to revolt agianst his church.

Why do I believe what I believe? First experience has shown me that 'christian protestants' are wishy washy and just want to suit their own beliefs which never made me feel any better or feel like there was meaning in the world or feel like I knew God. Secondly because history is so obvious when you look at a Catholic history book... it makes much more since. There is one religion that was not started by a man but started by God. I do not follow man but God. There is even a book called the Protestant Reformation in England and Ireland written by a protestant that has attisted to the reasoning behind such a movement. I highly suggest a book called I Believe by Wilfred G. Hurley now out of print but able to purchase at bookfinder.com for a few dollars.

And last but not least, Faith, like everyone else has said. But I would like to define it for you.

Faith in general, is an assent of the mind to the truth of some proposition on the word of another, God or man. Devine faith is therefore the holding of some truth as absolutely certian becaue God, Who can neither deceive nor be deceived, has spoken it. It is not merely a feeling or a suspicion or an opinion, but a firm, unshakeable adherence of the mind to a truth revealed by God. The motive of Dinvine faithm or the reason why we believe, is God's authority, His unfailing knowledge and truthfulness. We believe the truths of faith not because our minds understand them, can see them, but because the Infinitely Wise and Truthful God has revealed them. This motive of faith must be not confused with motives of crediblitiy. Thse latter are signs, and amoung them the surest are miracles and prophecies, by which we can conclude with full certitude that God has revealed and that therefore there is a strict obli0gation to accept the truths He has ma0de known. It is certian that god has spoken, it is unreasonable to withhold assent to His truths. All that God has revealed and nothing else is the object of Divine faith, for it is that and that alone which can be accepted on the word of God. Through a man may be able by his own resources to learn the main truths revealed by God, the normal and usual way is through the Church which has been commissioned by Christ to teach in His name and with His authority. Divine faith is a supernatual act and therefore requires the grace of God. This grace is given to all adults who do not place any obstacle in its way. Without faith no man can be saved. For as infants the virtue of faith received at the time of Baptism suffices, but for adults and act of supernatual faith that God exists and rewards the good and punishes the evil is necessary for salvation.

I don't, life's a gamble like that. That's why I stick the basic belief of one God and don't worry about the details, because that's where most religions vary. So, yeah, I'm not a Christian.
