I just found out the guy i've been dating lied about his age. He looks a lot older so i never bothered to make sure. He said if he told me his real age, i would not have given him a chance...which is true. I feel so bad now....

you have already said it that he looks a lot older also that you never bothered to make sure.then age is nothing to you here but because he lied to you. it is sometimes like that if a guy does not want to miss a beautiful girl ,he might lie about his age so that you will not condemn him because of his age.
what if he did not tell you ? you should know that he loves and respects you and that is why he has just told you the truth. dont feel bad but appreciate him more that he loves you also that there is nothing he can hide from you.Good luck................

It says a lot about how much a person trusts and respects another person when they are willing to decieve the other person to get what they want. You have to decide what you are willing to put up with. However, remember that everything you allow in the beginning of a relationship will continue to be okay in the other person's mind. do you want to date this guy if he thinks it's okay to tell you what you want to hear? Do you want the relationship with your significant other to be one that is built on lies and deception? Lies never go away, they have a tendency to reproduce.

It's really your decision. But remember if you choose to stay with him that you are choosing to be with a liar. Knowing that at this point takes away your right to be surprised and angry later.

If he is too young, I would leave him alone, however, If he lied about his age, I would wonder what else he would lie and is lieing about. Beginning a relationship based on a lie is a red flag to me. I would have a different opinion of him now. Good luck and God bless

Why do you feel bad? HE is the one who lied...what else is he lying about?

I'd let him go myself...lying is a deal breaker...maybe you wouldn't have given him a chance if you' d known is actual age, but maybe you would have if you'd gotten to know him a bit...

The fact is, he is the age he is so whatever reasons you have for not dating a guy his age, still apply...

well how much did he lie about his age? If it is by a year or 2 don't worry about it, If he turns out to be a big age then let him go

Tell him to cough up his age, if he's a jailbait then dump him. If not? Who cares. Age is just a number when they are passed jailbait age.....lol

Truth is important in a relationship. Make sure that lying is not a habit with him.
