I'm a Christian Witch, so I was wondering when you pray to your god to cast a particular spell or pray for someone who's very Christian and probably not interested in witchcraft nor practices it. Would it be like praying Jesus, Mary, catholic saints, angels, etc to help them? Kind of like praying to the gods they already prefer as opposed to just praying for your gods and/or goddesses to help them.

When I mean putting on spell on them, I don't mean casting one that evil but one to help them when they are down.

when I am working (spellwork) for my family who is predominantly catholic, i stick with the saints. Blessed saint medals, (by a catholic priest) charged before a 7 day novena (candle) of that saint. 7 day novenas can be a great ally in the use of candle magic. Sometimes I will even go to the church itself and light a candle for them at church. Depending upon the need. For example, if my brother was down on his luck & got kicked out of his apt, I would work with St Joseph, If my Grandmother is sick i would work with St Bernadette etc. I am not on close enough terms with people of other sects of christianity to be familiar with what works best for them, beyond prayer directly to Jesus. I am a Germanic witch when I work for myself or my pagan friends I use the Runes, and the gods of the Aesir & Vanir (more familiarly Odin, Thor, Frey, Freya etc.)

Yes there is such as thing as christian witches. Certain types of magic are listed in the bible as "against god" such as divination, trafficking in spirits, poisoning, conjuring, even ledger demain, but there is a type of magic that is OK and that is Theurgy; in fact every christian uses it. It is invoking the power of God, or summoning the aid of God. It is called PRAYER!

There are many "sins" in christianity if witchcraft is girly girls most henious sin then she has more of a chance with Saint Peter than say Fred Phelps, or any fundementalist who preaches hate...Telling off your parents is "against god" as well, so is every teenager on this earth "not a christian" because they have a dissagreement about curfew?

You don't. You can't compel love and anyone who tells you they can is a charlatan. And no good Christian or Atheist would ever even admit such a thing is possible. Now if you had asked the pagans... but even then, as I say, you cannot compel another. You can put a spell on yourself to make yourself more desirable, or ask for opportunities to meet others, but you can't force someone to love you.

This is very, very difficult.

The first thing I feel necessary to point out is that witchcraft by necessity acknowledges multiple gods/spirits of force and nature which are revered and acknowledged in ceramony. Spells, for the most part, are specified prayers aimed at these multitude of spirits and pagan gods; thier effectiveness a gauge of will and faith in channeling the spirits invoked.

Being a Christian Witch... is like being a strait bi-sexual. You're either one or the other, but not truly both. In this particular case, Christianity is fundamentally monothiestic with the procliamation of one true god. This is a direct insult and dismissal of all other gods, which witchcraft relies upon. It may sound nice on paper, but you cannot truly be a 'christian witch'.

There's no use in praying to thier gods if you don't believe in them, much like writing letters to santa claus. You're better off praying for them, in general. Non-directional prayer. Ask -all creation- for help, and you have a far better chance at success than just polling one or two gods.

Ultimately, the best way to help someone when they're done is to be there and talk to them. It is next to impossible to 'force' happiness upon someone, supernaturally or otherwise.

There is no such thing as a Christian witch, all witchcraft are of the devil, That is also in the Bible, I am not one bit concern about someone putting a spell on me, they try it in the pass, & they are dead now & I am still alive, Therefore Greater is he that is within me then he that is in the world.

Witchcraft and Christianity do not mix. There are several times in the Bible that sorcerers are condemned. You may pray to Christ as a Christian and if it is His will, he may grant it, deny it, or wait for a later time. However, this is not witchcraft/sorcery. If you believe in sorcery, you are not a Christian.

Jesus, Mary, catholic saints, and angels don't do witchcraft. And there's no such thing as a Christian witch. You're either one or the other.

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord JC.

No such thing as a Christian Witch.
Such-LIKE would an oxy-MORON.
Much like a Chrsitan-BEWITCHED.

Prayer prayed: Our Father deliver us from evil.
Prayer answered: We are delivered from law.
What remaineth is y(our) awareness of it.

Enmity: I will forsake you, the city, your fathers...Law
Friend: I will never leave thee nor forsake thee...Grace
Christ is our peace, who hath abolished the enmity(law).
Christ: is the end of the law, is the Saviour of the world.

However God our Saviour will have two things:
all men saved "and" all aware what from: law

The Grace(God) of our Lord JC with you all. Amen.
