Hi,
I was wondering if it's possible to actually retrieve folders/files from the computer after deleting and clearing of the recycle bin...

Cuz my friend accidentally deleted a folder of some important stuffs.. and hope that she can retrieve it back.. =/


So i hope any computer pros can help me in this ^^

no, the recycle bin is your "last chance" place to recover the data ... you may be able to retrieve the data with a utility like xtree, but it will have the "next segment" tags removed and you will have to search the entire disk for all the segments... a very exhaustive process and you will have to rely on your own memory to make sure you dont miss any pieces .... this wasn;t so bad when the hard drives were only 40 megabytes, but with the new GByte drives, you can spend weeks doing it

Try system restore. Go to , Start > all programs > accessories > system tools > system restore . Follow the instructions to restart your puter to a date before the files were deleted .
