when you breathe in through your nose, you breathe in all the dust and dirt in the air around you. there are thousands, sometimes millions of little hairs in your nose and throat, and they catch all of this dirt, and they are surrounded by a mucus. when the dirt has built up enough, the sticky mucus is still in your nose as snot. ♥b♥
