No. There is no reason to install lead on an airplane. I assume you are thinking of radiation protection, but lead over the cockpit would not be an effect measure in anycase. Plus lead is far to heavy a material to incorporate into a machince that is engineered to be a light as possible to maximize efficiency in flight.

why? Whatever for? For protection from radiation from space? Well, then it should be all around or else the radiation will seep in from other parts of the plane!

Actually, the exposure level is already taken into account in the materials used in the plane construction. They are able to help minimise the radiation level as the plane flies up above.
