Like most of us around the world, I've been bombarded with images of the twin-tower come tumbling down; the screaming Yanks running along the street; the cries of how hardly-done-by they were...and all the rest of it.

But also like many around the world I've watched as that country played their own political games in other countries backyards; the total lack of respect shown for anything not American; the arrogance; the global bullying. I've also had to watch the voting in of one after another President who has sanctioned such methods.

I'm no supporter of terrorist tactics, but after the actions of America following 9/11; after the way they had the audacity to re-elect Bush (the very epitome of all that is to be despised in that country) - am I the only left wondering if the US got off way too lightly??

Alex..I'm an Aussie - one of the many Australians who would happily wring our Prime Minister's neck for not having the balls to tell Busk to p*ss off and clean up his own mess!

3000 "innocents" (I wonder how many voted for presidents like Bush, or couldn't be stuffed voting at all) and a couple of buildings is a drop in the ocean compared to the devastation America has caused in Iraq - a country which had NOTHING to do with 9/11

America is not the victim here, but rather the school-yard bully on a global scale!

Don't you just love hearing a Yank yelp?? Never the criminal, ever the victim, and certainly never one to learn...they know everything already don't they?

Did they get off lightly - god-damned right they did! Maybe a few nukes scattered here and there might have wiped that ugly smirk of the dials. Isn't about time they stopped and actually wondered why it is they are so globally dislike - instead of simply swallowing the tripe their fool of a president shovels at them.

Yeah. Thanks to the US you ****** *** Australian boy lovers like yourself still have a country. If we didn't stop the Japanese from taking over the whole Pacific you'd be serving Vegemite to your Asian masters. You can make fun of our citizens falling from buildings as they burned and claim that we are the evil ones because it wasn't your family or friends or countrymen. You can sit on a computer and enjoy the freedoms you have because our soldiers have died back in WW2 so that evil wouldn't prevail. You are the exact person described by all the great leaders when they talk about cowards. How does that feel. No matter what you say or type at the top to dispute me you will always be a coward. Enjoy your life that we let you have.

So we had the "audacity" to re-elect President Bush? I guess we should have checked with you first to make sure you approved, before we held an election. Let us know when your PM is up for re-election, so we can tell you if it's okay with us.

The greatest thing about living in the United States is the freedom to criticize the government. You DO live here, don't you?

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, & I will defend to the death their right to express it; unless of course they live in another country, in which case that would be the responsibility of THEIR military.

Hey Aussie,

You people **** me off. It wasn't just Americans killed on September 11th. Maybe you'd wake up and smell the coffee if Bin Laden came down under and knocked your butt in the dirt like he did ours. Are we (the USA) guilty of nation building and medalling in everyone else's politics? Sure we are. We've been doing that since the end of World War I. You tell me what western power isn't guilty of it. Australia damn sure isn't, if for noting else by proxy with Great Britain. As far as our elections are concerned, we'll elect whom WE think is fit to run our government. I'm no Bush fan myself and I disagree with his crap most of the time. But the majority of my countrymen and women voted him into office so now we're stuck with him. In any case, for the rest of the world to think we'd just sit idly by after one of the worst attacks in American history (worse as far as loss of life than even Pearl Harbor!!!!!) simply amazes me. Here's how the REAL world works: for now we're the big guy on the block. While that doesn't give us license to push everyone around for no reason, it does mean that if you mess with the bull you'll get the horns!

If you honestly believe the US got off too lightly on 9/11 then you're one of those idiot aliens from planet Zort who doesn't know **** from shinola.

Open Microsoft Word, then
1)Type in capitals Q33 NY.(This is the flight number of the first plane to hit one of the Towers.
2) Highlight the Q33 NY.
3) Change the font size to 48.
4) Change the actual font to Wingdings.

If I met you in person I'd fight you to the ground. To say the loss of 3000 innocent civilians, who had nothing to do with any political process, was light? I normally like Australian people, but you **** me off
